So I have started and erased this so many times now it's kind of embarrassing. I am a firm believer in the two week rule. If you can do it for two weeks it becomes habit after that. Anyway, to the point...
So the am workout was just a shake out run of 4 miles in around 35 minutes.
The fact is after multiple injuries over the year (torn ligament, herniated disc) I just wanted to get back out and go easy; and that is exactly what I did.
The afternoon however was probably a little too much.
I started with a 3x3 of front squats @95. It wasn't too hard but wanted to work more on form than going heavy.
Finished with a 10-1 bodyweight bench, superset with 1-10 burpees. This was suppose to be for time but being my first workout in month I just decided to pus myself and that is it.
I had to drop the weight a few times as it was just too much. I can't stress how poorly I felt dropping the weight but as my wife says... you have to start somewhere.
So that is it for Day 1, more to follow....
